FrostWire is a file-sharing client that uses the Gnutella file distribution network. It is based on the LimeWire P2P download manager.

Quick, safe (free of spyware, Trojan horses and keyboards), compatible with the extremely well-known BitTorrent network, FrostWire has included new functions with respect to the initial LimeWire project.

Thanks to the incorporation of visual themes, FrostWire has a completely different design, but with an interface that is very similar to its predecessor, so users that are already familiar with it won’t get lost.

Although its main function is to transfer audio files, FrostWire can also be used for all other types of file.

FrostWire is a totally free, open source application and it is available for use in almost all operating systems.
