Free Pascal (also known as FPK Pascal) Pascal compiler is free and open source, 32 or 64 bits, which represents a major alternative to existing commercial software, such as Turbo Pascal and Delphi.

It has several options, among which are: support for overloading and GNU debugger API, we can load variables in registers, using global variables, removing Stack, a code optimizer, an integrated assembler, and several other options.

Its text-mode interface is very similar to Turbo Pascal, but with a few more options. Furthermore Free Pascal is well-documented, with large manuals reaching nearly 2000 pages in total.

Free Pascal is one of the best options, and adds more points by being free and open source.
