Unreal Tournament 2003 Patch is the patch that has introduced uncountable improvements to the video game. It has increased its difficulty, it has a more advanced menu and multiple details had been corrected that have optimised playability.

Thanks to Unreal Tournament 2003 Patch there are no more chat interruptions even if the current game is in “pause” mode, the narrator's voice can be modified, increasing or decreasing its volume, and the information available in the HUD will be completed (apart from the maps, the availability of lives, points, etc.), being now Windows 98 compatible.

In Unreal Tournament 2003 Patch among other details, these have been corrected: sending three rockets instead of four, size of the ray too big when shooting with the impact rifle, gyration time too wide in the minigun before taking the shot, discoordination between distance and damage originated in the Flak, and mistakes in the prorogation and destination of the translocation.
