VistaGlazz is the programme designed to change the classical Windows Vista interface.
With this software, you can obtain different effects onscreen, we can see how once we make the correct modifications, we can get a more crystallised effect on the windows, and even on the menu bar.
To install this application, we must follow a series of steps, which are detailed in the following list:
- Begin the session as Administrator.
- Go into the %systemroot%\System32 folder.
- Look for the uxtheme.dll file and go into its properties.
- Take control of the options the file shows.
- Do the same with the themeui.dll and shsvcs.dll files.
- Go back into the uxtheme.dll file properties and activate the “total control” option.
- Do the same with the themeui.dll and shsvcs.dll files.
- Change the file uxtheme.dll’s name to uxtheme.old. And shsvcs.dll to shsvcs.old.
- Copy the files downloaded into the %systemroot%\System32 folder.
- Restart the computer.
