Use DC++ to share files, songs, and images of any kind by means of the Direct Connect system, the P2P client created by Jon Hess of NeoModus.

The protocol that is used in DC++, also known as DC plus plus, is different to others that you may know. It is based on servers called hubs, each one of which has different standards when it comes to sharing your files. With DC++ you have the possibility of accessing more than one hub at the same time.

When you connect to a server, you can see all connected users and the files that you are going to share. With DC++ you can choose your favourite hubs and users so that as soon as you connect you access them.

If firewalls or routers are used, you can configure the communication ports so that the application works better.
