Age of Mythology is, along with Age of Empires, one of the best strategy games in real-time, created by Ensemble Studios. Both have a very similar interface and are easy to use.
The game takes place in the mythological era and advances through each of the four Ages of Mythology: Archaic, Classical, Heroic and Mythical. Gods, Cyclops and Minotaurs are your game companions. Organise military units, fight with armies, create fortresses, obtain resources and construct temples. This is how you will complete the mission entrusted to you in Age of Mythology.
In this fast-paced three-dimensional game you have the chance to embody 27 minor Gods, apart from the 9 major Gods, each of them with their own mythical unities and divine powers. As something new, Age of Mythology includes ‘favour’, a special resource that lets you access new technology and mythical unities.
With Age of Mythology you can participate in a multi-player game over the Internet where you are a participant in at least 5 campaigns.
