With SopCast you have access to a number of television channels and radio stations through the Internet. But what’s more, using P2P distribution technology, users can see their favourite series and programs on the browser, but can also broadcast their own contents.
SopCast is very easy to use. Choose the files from your hard drive that you want to share and when you hit the ‘play’ button, you create your own programming, broadcasting (via the Broadcast servers) the contents that you want to send out.
Completely free, SopCast works with files in WMV, ASF, RMVB and RM formats.
The image quality in this client program varies according to the number of users tuned in to your channel at one time. SopCast works with Windows Vista, includes a new channel organisation and has modified the size of the display to make it more convenient.
