To gain direct access to television programs and radio stations via satellite on your own computer, you will need to install ProgDVB, a satellite dish and a DVB/PCI card.
ProgDVB includes the teletext function of the channels it tunes in to, it allows to record and reproduce broadcasting in full screen mode, and other options that you will discover when you have installed it. And all these are totally free of charge.
When you download it, ProgDVB begins looking for accessible radio stations and television channels for its later reproduction, and it provides you with the function of exporting and importing that list of channels.
There are many cards compatible with ProgDVB, for instance: AverMedia A700, TwinHan, Netcast DVB, Aver DVB-S, Telemann Skymedia 300 DVB, WinTV NOVA (USB o PCI), BroadLogic 2030/1030, Pinnacle PCTV Sat, Sky Star 2 USB or PCI, etc.
